TAKUMA – Crafting ideal spaces with a polishing spirit
The name comes from the Japanese word takuma, “to polish”: a spirit of fine craft and relentless pursuit.

What we do best
Japanese minimalism is our core language: negative space, natural materials, soft light and curved lines that give even a small home room to breathe. For new builds and pre-sale unit changes we plan storage and circulation from the floor plan up; for clients who want richer layers we compose stone, metal and fabric into a quietly luxurious finish.

- Interior construction: Once the design is finalised we build it ourselves, with daily on-site supervision so design and construction never drift apart.

Our studio is in Nantun, Taichung. We serve Taichung and Taipei, with completed projects across Taichung, Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Changhua. Other regions are welcome to enquire.
Design and construction, one team
Every TAKUMA project is carried by the whole design team, from the first meeting through floor planning and material selection. Once a design is finalised we build it ourselves: a professional site manager supervises daily and the design team inspects key stages, so the finished space matches the drawings, and a warranty is issued on completion.
